We are an Italian company and world leader in the production and distribution of manufactured and forged products made of wrought iron.

Our wrought iron is distributed in 136 countries throughout world and has been chosen to protect and decorate some of the most important and complex buildings in the world such as the Palace of Justice in Rome, the Terenure park in Dublin, Eurodisney and many other prestigious villas and residences from Hollywood to Saint Petersburg, London and Saint Tropez.
The history of the company started 40 years ago, in 1971, when the Architect Bruno Gonzato started a company to produce amphibious means with the name Ind.i.a. or Industria Italiana Anfibi (Italian Amphibian Industry).
Architect Bruno Gozanto self-financed his projects by producing and selling wrought iron scrolls, which is a very common product in Vicenza. He soon became aware that with his instinct for art and the passion for wrought iron he was able to invest in a new market.
Soon the company grew in size and experience, to become a group with 16 branches that produces and distributes wrought iron and steel finished products and forgings globally through three major brands: Ind.i.a, Il Grande Fabbro and Arteferro Inox.
But the expansion did not affect the love for the tradition that characterized this ancient art, so much so that the Architect Gonzato is considered more of a great craftsman than an industrialist.
To this day he still conducts his business with innovation and research in design, an activity in which he is helped by his wife Stefania, who is also an Architect and Designer; his children Francesca, Matteo, Davide, Dario and his son-in-law Andrea.
Architect Bruno Gonzato's will to raise his children in management roles shows his foresight in establishing a firm foundation for the future that ensures continuity of the company philosophy and the quality guaranteed by the Ind.i.a. label.
